Dental Implants in Fredericksburg, Placed and Restored In-House
From a single tooth to a full-arch All-on-4 case, Dr. Arafa plans, places, and restores your implants right here: one team, start to finish.

Missing a tooth (or several) changes more than your smile. Chewing gets harder, you might avoid photos, and over time the jawbone underneath an empty space can start to shrink.
There’s no judgment here for how you got to this point. Teeth are lost to decay, gum disease, injury, or just years of wear. It happens to a lot of good people. What matters now is finding a plan that gets you back to eating, talking, and smiling with confidence.
What Is a Dental Implant?
A dental implant is a small titanium post that replaces the root of a missing tooth. It’s placed in the jawbone, where it fuses with the bone over the following months (a process called osseointegration) and becomes a stable foundation to build on.
Because the post is anchored in bone just like a natural root, it also helps preserve the bone around it, something a bridge or a traditional denture can’t do.
The post
A titanium root placed in the jawbone, where it fuses with the bone over the following months.
The connector
A small abutment that links the healed post to the tooth on top.
The tooth
Your visible crown, bridge, or full set, custom-made to fit and match your smile.
From One Tooth to a Full Arch
Not sure where to start? Tell us your situation and we’ll point to the option most people in your shoes consider, then confirm it together at a consult.
Single-Tooth Implant
Missing one tooth? A single implant and crown replace it root and all, without touching the teeth on either side.
Implant Bridge
Missing several teeth in a row? An implant-supported bridge replaces them without grinding down the healthy teeth next to the gap.
Implant-Supported Denture
Have a removable denture that slips? We can secure it to a small number of implants so it stays put when you talk or eat.
All-on-4 / Fix-on-6
Missing most or all of your teeth on an arch? A full set of fixed, implant-secured teeth you don’t take out at night.
Placed and Restored, Right Here: No Runaround
Most dental offices that offer implants don’t actually place them. They refer you to an oral surgeon for the surgery, then send you to a third office for your final teeth: three different offices, three bills, and no single person who owns your outcome.
Dr. Arafa plans, places, and restores implants himself, right here, from a single tooth to a full-arch All-on-4 case. The same team that does your surgery also makes your final teeth, so your bite, your aesthetics, and your healing are coordinated by people who know your case from day one.
Simpler, and Often Less Expensive
It’s simpler: fewer offices, fewer trips, one place to call. And it often costs less than splitting your care across a general dentist, an oral surgeon, and a prosthodontist separately.

How the Process Works
Consultation & 3D Imaging
An exam, a conversation about your goals, and a 3D scan so we can see your bone and plan placement.
Your Treatment Plan
We walk you through your options in plain language, and tell you what we’d recommend, and what we wouldn’t.
Preparation (if needed)
Extractions or bone grafting for cases that need it; most grafts need a few months to heal before placement.
Placement
The implant post is placed under local anesthesia, with sedation available if you’d like it.
Healing
Your jawbone fuses to the implant over the following months. This step can’t be rushed: it’s what makes the implant strong.
Your Final Restoration
Once healed, we attach your crown, bridge, or full set, custom-made to fit and match your smile.

A fixed set of temporary teeth can go on the day the implants are placed, when they hold firmly enough to carry one. That grip is checked during the procedure, so it is decided there rather than promised beforehand. Your final restoration is custom-made and placed once healing is complete, typically a few months later.
You May Be a Candidate If…
Bone loss on its own isn’t a reason to rule out implants. Many patients still qualify with grafting or an All-on-4 approach. The only way to know for sure is a consult and a look at your 3D scan.
What They Do Well
Implants vs. Dentures vs. Bridges
Lifespan and outcomes vary by individual case and care.
A Real Number After Your Exam, Not Before
Every implant case is different: a single tooth, a few teeth, or a full-arch All-on-4 plan all cost differently, depending on how many implants you need, whether you need a bone graft or extractions first, and which restoration you choose. We don’t publish a flat price because a flat price wouldn’t be honest.
We accept Medicaid and are in-network with most major PPO plans, and we’ll check your specific coverage before your visit. For the rest, we offer financing, so cost doesn’t have to be the reason you wait to get answers.
The Questions We Hear Most
It depends on your case: how many implants you need, whether you need extractions or bone grafting first, and which restoration you choose. We don’t quote a flat price because no two cases are the same; we’ll give you a real number after your exam and 3D scan.
Implant placement is done with local anesthesia, and sedation is available if you’d like extra comfort. Most patients tell us it’s more comfortable than they expected, with some mild soreness for a few days afterward.
Often, yes. Bone loss doesn’t automatically rule you out. Bone grafting or an angled All-on-4 approach can create a foundation to work with. The only way to know for sure is a consult and a look at your 3D scan.
It depends on your case. A single implant is often three to six months from placement to final tooth, mostly because healing can’t be rushed. A full-arch All-on-4 case can include a fixed temporary set on the day of placement, when the implants hold firmly enough to carry one, with your final restoration following after healing.
Sometimes, and it is decided during the appointment. A temporary set can be fixed in place that day only when the implants hold firmly enough to carry it, which the surgeon checks once they are placed. When they do, you leave with teeth; when they do not, waiting protects the implants while the bone locks on. Either way the temporary is not your final set: that is custom-made and placed once healing is complete, usually a few months later.
All-on-4 and All-on-6 both replace a full arch with a fixed set secured to four or six implants. More implants can mean more support. An implant-supported denture is still removable but attaches to a few implants so it doesn’t slip. Which makes sense depends on your bone, your bite, and what you want day to day.
No: Dr. Arafa places and restores implants himself, right here, from a single tooth to a full-arch All-on-4 case. One team plans your surgery and makes your final teeth, instead of you being bounced between three different offices.
We’re in-network with most major PPO plans and accept Medicaid. Call ahead and we’ll check your specific plan. If insurance doesn’t cover everything, we offer financing through CareCredit, Cherry, Sunbit, and LendingPoint, plus in-house payment plans.
