Your Whole Family’s Dentist, One Trusted Team
Cleanings, checkups, fillings, root canals: the everyday care that keeps every member of your family healthy. We see school-age children, parents and grandparents, and keep the same familiar faces visit after visit.

New patients are always welcome, and your first visit includes a full exam, X-rays, a digital scan, and a straightforward conversation about what we found, and what, if anything, we’d recommend next.
We’re in-network with most major plans and accept Medicaid, and we’ll check your specific coverage before your visit. Our team includes Spanish-speaking staff, so care is available in English or Spanish.
What a First Visit Looks Like
Full exam
With the doctor, plus X-rays and a digital scan of your mouth.
The conversation
What we found, and what, if anything, we’d recommend next.
Cleaning & care
The everyday work that keeps a smile healthy, year after year.
Your schedule
Most patients do well twice a year: we set the rhythm together.
Regular care catches a cavity while it’s still a filling, not a root canal, and if a tooth ever does need saving, that’s handled here too. Learn about root canal treatment →
Two Doctors, One Team

Dr. Mohammed Ali Waris, DDS
Earned his dental degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2020 and has treated patients in Fredericksburg ever since. Patients know him for slowing down to explain what’s going on and why, before he ever recommends a next step.

Dr. Mohamed Arafa
Owns Advanced Dental Care of Fredericksburg and built the practice around implant dentistry and oral surgery. He works through every case with the team first, so what he recommends is only what you actually need.
Even though i had many dentist visits i never had an x ray done and even though x rays are uncomfortable they still worked together as a team to reduce any discomfort. They were also very sweet to my kids.
We Check Your Coverage Before You Ever Sit in the Chair
We’re in-network with most major PPO plans and accept Medicaid. Not sure your plan is covered? Call the office and our team will check for you before your visit, no guessing.
For anything insurance doesn’t cover, we offer financing plus in-house payment plans, and we go over pricing with you before any treatment begins.
Family Dentistry Questions

Most patients do well with a checkup and cleaning twice a year; some cases call for a different schedule, which we’ll set together based on your history.

The infection is what hurts. Treatment relieves it. Modern root canals are done comfortably under local anesthesia; most patients say it felt like getting a filling.
